Small black and white paws stumbled over the forest floor, blue eyes wide with fear and confusion. A tiny voice squeaked out at the top of its lungs, "Mama!? Papa?!" it cried out. Suddenly those tiny paws stumbled over a stick, sending the tiny kit tumbling into a dusty dip in the land. Sitting upright, the small she-kit's snowy pelt a dusty grey from the dirt. Tears trickled down her muzzle and off her whiskers leaving white trails down her dusty face. She started to cry. She had gotten seperated from her parents. The small she-kit had been stalking a beetle, and when she turned around to ask her mother something she couldnt see them. She had walked around for hours calling out for her parents, but got no response. Then out of no where there was a clap of thunder.
Cabrum!
She jumped and shrieked as rain started pouring down, washing the dust from her white fur, but filling the small dip full of muddy water, staining her black and white paws, and her belly a red brown. She stumbled out of the ditch and over to a tree. Stumbling around its base she spotted a small cave in its roots, protects from the rain, and a root infront of it to keep the water from flooding in. She crawled over the root and into the cave, curing up quickly, falling asleep, despite her muddy fur and grumbling belly.
Another clap of thunder woke her. She stood up quickly only to fall back down, her legs unable to support her weight when trembling. Her fur had dried, but so had the mud, leaving her looking half white and half brown. Flicking her ears she struggled to her paws and peered out from the small cave. The rain had stopped. Crawling out again she started walking again, the mudd making a sucking sound everytime she pulled her paw out of it. After afew hours she collapsed again, curling up right there, in the mudd and fell asleep once more.
(D: she doesnt know her parents were murdered)
