The StarClan felines huddled inside the breezy clearing. Gossip flowed like rainwater as the puzzled spirits questioned and muttered. In all the history of the clans, never had a warning so confused and perplexed the ancestors. A silvery white she-cat; pelt ruffled in the night air, padded to the front of the mass. Uttering a loud caterwaul, she silenced the crowd. "Cats of StarClan!", she called out imperiously. "As of tonight, we have toiled vigilantly over this most troubling news. Forewarned by the ancients, a new prophecy has come to pass. However", she continued, as the mumbling grew louder. She fixed the offenders with a pointed scowl. "though as far back as we have dared to study, never as an omen been such an enigma." "I believe you all remember how Fire saved the clan?" Cheers came from the former LightClan felines. ""Now it is time for us all to pool our experiences and wisdom to protect our clans from harm. If we cannot cooperate, all effort are in vain." She inhaled deeply. "it is time to reveal the prophecy." The others waited with bated breath.
[glow=red,2,300]Moonlight now an eerie threat
strikes terror upon each fearful breath.
Mars the soul; seals your fate.
The air congeals and blood abates. [/glow]
A fierce scuffle broke out among the rapt audience. "But WE control the moon!", protested a coal warrior. "This could refer to a specific warrior, Lunarstar!" Lunarstar fixed the warrior with a disparaging glare. "I KNOW mouse-brain!", she snapped. "At the same time, our medicine cats have received a completely different prophecy."
A dove gray she-cat stepped forward. Her delicate bones and soft coat reflected her tender age. "Satinpaw", mewed Lunarstar respectfully. "Tell your comrades what you have witnessed. An unearthly tone soared from the apprentice's throat, eyes rolling to the top of her head. AS if enhanced, a pure tone like crystal rang in the air. In a singsong voice, she recited.
A grumbled assent followed her words as the possessed she-cat paused to collect herself. Panting slightly, she resumed her duty.
[glow=red,2,300]Eyes of violet; a steady stance
Herald the need of vengeance true.
Coats of black and fangs of ice
Desperate measures call for fatal price.[/glow]
The guardians visibly shook with fright, many staring outright at the ebony felines in their midst.
Obviously bemused, Lunarstar watched in complacent calmness as her fellow ancestors reacted. "Like a pack of terrified rabbits!", she muttered under her breath. Not wanting to miss the message, she focused again on the speaker.
[glow=red,2,300]When light falls and the dark sun rise
Beware the starry skies.

Satinpaw slumped over, exhausted from the effort. Lunarstar lept at the chance, directing all attention back to her with a flick of her tail. "Now we must inform the clans!", she meowed with dignity. "How about, mixed blood will be the downfall?", she found herself looking for approval from the others.

Arising from the Eastern night
advance the twirling neon lights.
Green and blue; red and gold
The emblem of the wanderers old.

Padding with determined care.
Appear with dusk; dissolve like dew
Forgotten ones emerge anew.[/glow]

avenging stars of angered loss?
Exiled for envy; lost in greed
Abandoned allies fury heed.[/glow]
