The trees that stood so proudly, sprouting from the ground, waved and groaned. Their leaves clinging onto the branches as a strong gust pulled at them, whistling in fury. The stars that twinkled so brilliantly in the sky all of a sudden burned out. Leaving the sky black, like the black of nothingness. A red crack in the sky appeared as if the sky was hatching, it spread and crackled, spurting out angry, green energy bursts. From it blasted 2 lights like shooting stars.
1 a sparkling white-blue streak curved towards Shadeclan, the other, an orange color streaked at Sunclan. In Shadeclan a young queen died giving birth two 2 dead-births and 1 live white kit, his eyes, already open, were a shocking silver-white color. In Sunclan an older queen gave birth to only a single sickly kit. The medicine cat bowed his head “she will surely die.” He whispered to himself. As he looked up, a great storm of winter began to blow across the land..
In a land swallowed by darkness 3 cats stared into a crimson pool. A brown tabby his eyes burning amber sneered to a zombie-like cat across from him. "Well Deathstar, it seems that the time we has awaited is here." Deathstars black eyes searched his sons face, a spider crawling down from his broken jaw. "Indeed Shiftweed, the revenge we thrist for has appeared. But from not our claws."

{Fadedstar missed the lights}
A stately black tom bounded into the clearing, his midnight fur showing glints of gold as he ascended. Stunning arum orbs watched confidently as he appraised the multitude of clan cats. Padding with a prideful step, he commandingly led the rest of SunClan to the gathering. A time of peace of course, but one never knew what to expect at the gathering. It wouldn't surprise him the least if the sacred truce was ever broken again. He had left som of the strongest warriors back at camp to guard if needed. Hopefully the gathering would stay true to course. Leaf-bare's icy grip had caused all the clans to be irritable as fresh-kill and medicines ran short. Prey had long ago fled to winter burrows, barely sneaking out for a tidbit to eat. Instead, foxes roam the once fertile land. Fadedstar had been diligent, sending out patrols regularly. His patrol had already frightened away a vixen from the rocks near the camp, dangerously close to the Queens. A fox in the nursery was the last thing anyone wanted to have happen. Unfortunately for ShadeClan, the fox had scampered away into their territory. He planned to bring up the issue at the current gathering. Fadedstar narrowed his eyes, remembering the intriguing scents he found on the patrol. It had a musky, dank odor, like a wet hound, but wilder. It was possible that a badger had moved in. The patrol had found two scents, one male; one female. With the recent trouble with ShadeClan he hoped to avoid a confrontation just yet. Being mortal enemies the ShadeClan leader might not take kindly to advice. A certain incident had soured the trust with ShadeClan, not that there had been much to begin with.

[ sorry for the switch around of the kits, i made the first post at 2 am and forgot which one went to which. XD]
Trivitystar took one last glance at the glistening white kit and walked out of the den, the clan stared at her. a hushed silence filled the air that seemed heavy as though the sky itself was pressing down on them. With a flick of her fluffed out tail the warriors and apprentices followed her out of the clan. The medicine cat fidgeted in the nursery, this kit had a evil aura around it...
As her clan dispersed to share tongues with the clan already gathered Trivitystar hauled herself onto the rock next to Fadedstar and nodded to the sunclan member with only a hint of resistance. "Good night for a gathering." she mewed.

Fadedstar calmly turned his gaze to the young leader. She had led her clan brilliantly trough the spirit-crushing weather. Telling by her glossy fur and lustrous eyes her clan was prospering once more. "Perhaps", he replied enigmatically. He paused, letting the word settle in. With SunClan starving and weary he refused to show weakness to Trivitystar. His eyes glinted with humor. "SnakeClan better show up soon before we all turn into icicles." he purred. The gathering was devoid of the reptilian clan. Fadedstar tasted the air, sensing the mingled aromas as the clans gossiped and teased. Among the multitude he spotted the familiar ginger pelt of Raypaw. She was oblivious to his scrutiny, chatting with a pale ShadeClan apprentice. The two were apparently shaking with mirth.

Almost impossible to see, Trivitystar's deputy sat a the foot of the large stone, her tail slowly swaying from side to side. Only her icy blue eyes gave away her location. She fluffed up her jet black pelt, fighting off the cold chill in the air, patiently waiting for the other clans to show up. Bluefury ran her icy gaze through the mass of cats that covered the ground, gathered together in hope for warmth. She turned her gaze back to her leader.
"Trivitystar, with all due respect, if SnakeClan does not show up, we will have to start the gathering without them. Our pelts cannot fight the cold for long, and the apprentices have thinner pelts than the warriors." She mewed, blinking her blue eyes slowly.

Trivitystars tufted ears twitched "I suppose. the elders might start yowling if we do not as well." she surveyed the cats present with sharp silver eyes before standing up gently. "The gathering will now commence!" her voice rang out commandingly. "It is to cold tonight to wait for the other clans." She let her voice fall before continuing on , and stare at the moon which showed no sign of darkness.
"With that, Shadeclan has done well this winter. We welcome a new life into the clan and grieve 3 loses, one of which is my old deputy, Frightfall. Bluefury is now Shadeclan deputy." Oceansoul and Orahail called up their cheers for their deputy then fell silent as Trivitystar spoke again.
"We look forward to the warmth of Newleaf. I pray to starclan that the sun will show itself soon." Trivitystar mewed and then took a seat, waving to Fadedstar with her tail.

Fadedstar stately dipped his head in acknowledgement to the ShadeClan leader. Raising his rumbling voice he called out to the crowd. "SunClan too has suffered losses. Tonight however is a night of celebration. Raykit and Amberkit are now apprentices." he waited for the chorus of congratulations to diminish. Pride shone on Fadedstar's golden orbs. "Foxes have attempted to takeover our land. We showed them quite easily how wrong that decision was. The ShadeClan warriors growled in agreement, pleased with their success. Fadedstar continued, "To counter this unusual abundance of foxes I have sent out extra patrols." For the sake of enemies pray that no conflicts emerge." He glanced meaningfully at the clans.
Below the leaders positions, Polarpaw was having the time of his life. He expressively demonstrated his training stories with tongue in cheek humor to an attentive audience. "The rabbit was this BIG!!", he mewed excitedly, spreading his paws for emphasis. Raypaw gazed at him with a coy smile. "And what did Addertongue say when you brought it back?", she purred coquettishly. Her tail lightly touched his shoulder. Polarpaw continued unabashed. "Well, of course he wasn't impressed at all! Go find some more he said!" Polarpaw mimicked the snappish warrior's reedy tone. "Very funny", a voice remarked dryly. "Addertongue would be delighted at how his apprentice is spreading stories about the greatness of his mentoring prowess." A bright white paw smacked Polarpaw upside the nose. "Quartzpaw!", he grumbled as his sister popped into view.
Quartzpaw had been quietly observing her surrounds when she noticed the faint mew of her brother rising above the gathering. She sighed with exasperation, spotting Polarpaw's wild antics from afar. No doubt he had made countless friends and enemies from the other clans. Her skill however was causing uncomfortable situations to form by the pointed remarks she uttered. Shifting her slender ivory body she wove through the clans towards Polarpaw. Like quicksilver she smacked him lightly on the nose.

The fox-like she-cat, Foxpelt, looked around at the cats gathered around here. She stands proudly, happy to be the deputy of her Clan. Listening intently to the leaders speaking, she smiles when Fadedstar tells the clans about the extra patrols and subtly hints that, if anyone crosses the boundary or attacks the Clan. Well done, Fadedstar! she though, Telling about the foxes, and the attack, but making them look like strengths instead of weaknesses.

Trivitystar glared at Fadedstar for only the swiftest of moments. She fluffed out her pelt against the cutting wind. A shimmering spot caught her eye, she groaned as a star-cat took form.
Gorsethicket, the lightclan deputy who had passed in the tigerclan war stood visible to all. His mouth opened as if to speak but no words came out, instead the wind whirled around all the cats ears. Gorsethicket closed his eyes, seeming to want to block out the words he had sent to the wind.
When 4 fight, and 2 are born upon the moon of rest, blood shall appear in freezings form.
Gorsethicket stared at all the cats, his eyes clouded over, ice crawled from his paws to his tail tip. "A-A starclan member just froze?" A she-cat wailed bellow. Gorsethicket shimmered out of view. Snow that glittered red in the moons light fell onto the cats.

Fadedstar's hackles rose at the sight of the starry warrior. As the wind picked up about him he realized the visit probably did not bode well. His last experience fresh in his mind he angled his ears to catch the words.
fight.. the moon of blood
Puzzled, he schooled his expression to one of serenity. It would do SunClan no good if their leader freaked out at the gathering. Nodding to his deputy for a split second he silently agreed. BloodClan must be watched closely in the future. He twitched his ears in surprise, unable to hide his shock as the denizen of StarClan suddenly froze solid. There was only one explanation at the time he could think of. "Iceblood", he muttered. A chill fell over the gathering like mist. There was no doubt in Fadedstar's mind. The warning had to be about the cruel leader of BloodClan. perhaps she was plotting to ambush the clans? UNable to keep silent, the clans broke up into small wary groups, casting frightened looks at the others.
Frosty the kitty, Polarpaw thought stupidly. Quartzpaw stood her ground, teeth bared in preparation for a fight. In all of clan history StarClan had rarely descended to the cats below.

Trivity stood shocked, Gorsethicket one of the cats told in her nursery story's, a member of starclan the all powerful, had frozen! she shook herself and tried to stand proudly. Blood appear in freezings form... what did that mean? That their blood would freeze like Gorsethickets? she shivered at the thought. She would not let that fate take her clan.

At the sight of the Starclan cat frozen solid, Foxpelt froze in her tracks. 2 are born... in freezings form... What could that mean...? she thought, looking to Fadedstar and wondering what he was thinking. She thought about it, still wondering what the prophecy--as it obviously was a prophecy--meant. When 4 fight... 4... what is there 4 of? 4 seasons... 4 weeks in a moon... not Clans, there are 6... unless its 4 of the six clans... 2 are born in freezings form... 2 kits? And what's the moon of rest? And what does 'blood shall appear in freezings form? Agh, this prophecy is so confusing! she thought, mentally screaming. Then she thought a moment, and her eyes widened. Two are born in freezings form! Freezing's form... that's leaf-fall and leaf-bare! Leaf-fall is red... or orange... she thought.
{Yes, Foxpelt is a deep thinker. She'll make a great leader one day.}

Thick scarlet flakes descended upon the cats below, Polarpaw reeled with astonishment. These snowflakes were warm. As they melted he could imagine the metallic, coppery scent of dripping blood. A long-forgotten memory resurfaced, the pulsing of a heart; a ginger pelt splattered in red. A shrill screech, crying out in anguish and despair. Snapping back from his reverie, he calmed his trembling tail. This was no time to panic. The past is the past.

Trivitystar growled and jumped off the rock landing with a heavy thud. "The other clans are not coming. We have waited long enough, Shadeclan is going home!" With that she summoned her clan with a wave of her tail and led them away from the gathering.
Amberglass of Sunclan glared at the leaving Shadeclan cats then drew her attention back to Fadedstar. The warm snow clung to her tan-orange pelt and made her sick.

Fadedstar cast his gave commandingly yet sensitively at his subjects. Rallying them with a gentle flick of his tail he strode purposely down the slope. He beckoned to Amberglass, calling her closer. "In times of trouble we must keep steady.", he murmured to her. "A clear mind is harder to fool." He could sense the coiled tension in her shoulders. Fadedstar himself wanted to cringe from the unnatural flakes. Mustering his will, he resisted the urge to shake his pelt and dive into a stream.
