Leapstar ran through the forest of Sunclan. It was not an easy thing to run so fast in the forest. You had to watch for roots, and the trees themselves. She had often thought of her fathers clan, Breezeclan. How she could just run and run, without worry of anything less the occasional rabbit hole. Her eyes caught the grey pelt of a tom. The bulky cat sat just outside of the territory line.
She stomped over to the cat, he sat calmly, unafraid of the tall leader. "What are you doing here Coldheart?!" Leapstar snarled. Coldheart mocked being hurt. "Why Leapwing, or should I call you Leapstar now? That hurt! I just wanted to see how the clans were doing." Leapstar looked into his eyes, they were still glazed over with anger and resentment. "You still haven't changed Coldheart." She whispered. "You are unwelcome here! Leave! Now!" Leapstar hissed.

Fuzzynose jumped over a dead log landing gracefully on her feet. she looked up her nose in the air trying to smell for any prey she could find. however it was unlikely this close to the border where the cats sent marks bear strongest. she smelled a thrush not to far from where she stood but before she could start the hunt another smell caught her by suprise, Leapstar and another cat she didn't know and as her fur stood on end she had a feeling she didn't want to. curiously she followed the sent of the two cats, seeing them hissing across the border line. Fuzzynose stepped forward so she was behind leapstar and spoke with a forced calm. "Leapstar, is everything allright?"

Leapstar swung her head at her clanmate. Her clenched jaws loosened at the fluffy grey cat. "Yes, of course. Just having a chat with this loner here. No problem, carry on with what you were doing." she meowed, flashing a grim smirk at Fuzzynose. She turned to look at Coldheart again but the grey tom has dissapeared.

Fuzzynose nods and turns away, her fur relaxing as she steps back into the deeper part of Sunclans territory. she didn't like to leave her leader there but she knew getting food to her clan is just as important. Fuzzynose races into the forest belivng that her leader will be safe and begins her hunt.

Leapstar stared into the dark forest, her fur rippled. The re-appearance of that cat did not settle well with the she-cat. Assured that the tom wasn't coming back, the leader made her way back to camp. Slowly walking through the brush, her eyes swimed with thoughts.

Fuzzynose trots back into camp carrying three large squirrels in her mouth, dropping them into the fresh kill pile before lifting her head, and glancing around everyone had gathered around camp sharing fresh kill and grooming each other. my eyes met with Leapstar i held her gaze before her attention was drawn away by a patrol. She was curious about the cat she had seen earlier, was it someone Leapstar knew? or was it mere coincidence they were both there. she couldn't shake the feeling it was something more then that, and what she'd seen with that argument seemed deeper then a mere territorial fight. Fuzzynose glances once more at the leader before turning around and heading into the nursery to see the kits.

Leapstar caught Fuzzynose's stare and motioned to the young warrior with her black tail. The tuxedo patterned cat flicked her ears and dissapeared into her den. "Fuzzynose!Come here please!"

Fuzzynose stops outside the nursery, ears flicking in suprise at the leaders beckon. her fur rose slightly, but calmed when she realized it was her chance to ask the questions that shes been dyeing to know. Fuzzynose walks over to the leaders den stopping to pick up one of the squirrels she had caught, figuring Leapstar hadn't eaten sence she got back. she felt the many stares on her pelt as she crossed the clearing, raising her tail in the air proudly Fuzzynose dissapeared into the leaders den. Dropping the the squirrel at Leapstars paws before sitting down in front of her, her tail curling around her paws. "Yes Leapstar?"

The tall leader eyed the squirrel then deiced not too look at it. The sight of the squirrel made her stomach more upset. She looked down at her paws then back up at the grey she-cat. "Your eyes reflect your questions Fuzzynose." She meowed. "I need you to forget about the cat you saw, it is not something you should be worrying yourself over. OK?" She whispered, staring the multi-colored cat in the eyes. Leapstars yellow-gold eyes flashed dangerously "The time when you need to know about it might come sooner then later. But I hope for it being much, much later."

Fuzzynose nodded to Leapstars request, though the She-Cats anwser left her swarming in more questions then before. but as stubborn as she is she couldn't stand Leapstars lack of trust. "I understand Leapstar although i hope you will trust me more in the future" the words meant to be cold and harsh. Fuzzynose stood before Leapstar could anwser her mental lash out, and stormed from the den. she wouldn't let it go, but for now she wouldn't ask anymore questions. Fuzzynose crossed the clearing her tail lashing back and forth in silent anger. if her leader could not trust her, then She would not trust her leader with her own secrets. Fuzzynose turned her angry glare to the leaders den, a hiss escaping her silent Tantrum, before turning to the warriors den ignoring the hungry protest of her rumbling stomic as she fell to sleep.

Outside the leaders den, another commotion of a sort was taking place as the hunting party returned, the fruits of their labor proudly carried in their jaws. At the head of the warriors, the elegant night-pelted deputy of SunClan could be glimpsed, pelt burnished like copper in the fading sunlight. She padded with an easy stride, respectfully dipping her head to those who welcomed she and her hunters back. Though her clanmates approached her with conversation, she remained silent, still on duty until she had reported the days endeavors to Leapstar. Dignity and poise oozed from her pelt, her graceful manner drawing many an admiring stare of approval. This was Arrowstrike, young, complacent, and utterly at peace with her status. Pricking her ears, she caught the faint strains of a high pitched mew, oddly enough, in the direction of Leapstar's den. Her curiosity aroused, Arrowstrike tasted the air, noticing the strong scent of Fuzzynose in the direction of the sound. Burning with curiosity, she paused outside the den to hear more of the conversation, or at least, she planned to. Having second thoughts, she instead settled near the fresh-kill pile, in earshot but out of reach.

Fuzzynose found her dreams were filled with the incident the day of her parents murder in protecting the clan. the day playing back to her, in a rush. the things everyone knows and the things she had decided not to tell the clan. her memory re wined and played over again and again, she laid helplessly unable to control the dream any longer, as the cats hurled at her father who was braced in front of her and her mother. the cats claws dug deep into his neck, blood pouring from the wound as he turned his eyes on us. "Run." but we didn't we couldn't not even when his limp body hit the snowy ground, the snow now stained a bright red. and she remembered looking up at the stars where she had begged star clan to help, and saw the moon was the same red as the snow. she woke from her dream holding back a scream to not wake the other warriors in the den. Fuzzynose crawled out of the den tears streaming down her cheeks and hitting the cold ground, her entire body trembling as she made her way through the clearing and out into the forest.
